PRECISION INTEGRATED POWER SOLUTIONS always seeking innovative solutions to increase the efficiency of its energy supply. As the demand and prices of electricity have kept on rising, the world looks at renewable energy sources for its power needs. In recent years, solar & hybrid energy has become a popular renewable energy source because of its falling costs and improving efficiencies.
PIPOWER is approved by ADDC (Abu Dhabi Distribution center) and we are following Abu Dhabi Approved system of Solar PV Integration.
ON- GRID SOLAR SYSTEM
On-grid systems are the most common and widely used systems. You can simply use energy from your panels when they are producing, and then at night when your panels are not producing power, your system can tap into the grid. Excess solar that’s produced during the day can be credited to your utility’s account with a mechanism known as net metering. Then you can use that power at night without paying extra. You do not need a battery bank.
One important thing to consider when it comes to on-grid systems is that they do not function during a blackout. This is because it would be a safety concern for a system to push power into the grid when utility workers may be out making repairs to the network.
OFF- GRID SOLAR SYSTEM
An Off-grid systems utilize batteries to store energy produced from solar panels. Because you’re not able to tap into the grid, your system should be designed to fit a variety of needs throughout the year, especially in the winter when there are fewer sunlight hours. If you live in a remote area without reliable and affordable access to the grid, off-grid solar can be a great way to meet your energy needs.
Solar System
Hybrid power generation uses two or more technologies or modes of electricity to produce power. The term hybrid does not refer to a method of power, but a combined power and energy storage system. Often times, hybrid power generation contains a renewable energy component to balance the second form of power generation, such as diesel or other fossil fuels. By merging two or more power generation methods, hybrid systems can provide a high level of energy security.
Features of Hybrid System
- Environmentally Friendly
- Low Noise Pollution
- Low Fuel Consumption
- Uninterrupted Power Supply
HYBRID SYSTEM (Generator + Battery)
Hybrid generators are new age generators which combine traditional generator sets with another controllable electric source in order to generate a fuel efficient, noise reduced and environment friendly source of power supply. The controllable source may comprise of a fuel cell or another device which generates electricity from Diesel generator and the batteries in hybrid gensets are charged by renewable power sources (solar, wind, hydro, etc.) along with the fuel generators during its operation.
HYBRID SYSTEM (Solar + Generator + Battery)
The PV-diesel hybrid system is the integration of photovoltaic system with diesel generator to supply the load. The purpose of this technology is providing electricity for 24 hours to the customers but reducing the operation hours of diesel generator in an optimal way. The systems consist of PV arrays, diesel generator, batteries and inverter. The basic operation is controlled by knowing the condition of load and battery.
The application of this technology needs some prerequisites such as, the open land enough for locating the photovoltaic arrays and batteries as an energy storage, and the availability of good condition of diesel generator with automatic start/stop. However; most of the existing diesel are old and there is not enough space for PV arrays which is close to diesel generator. So it has to be a solution that the hybrid technology could adapt to these real situations.
