Revamping & Upgradation of Emergency Power Generation Control System
Precision Integrated is undertaking a major control system revamp and upgrade for an existing 30MWe Emergency Power Generation System, consisting of 5 x 6MWe, 11kV Low-Speed Machines. This project enhances the automation, reliability, and efficiency of the power control infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation during critical power transitions.
Upgraded Control System Components
Local Genset Control Panel (LGCP)
Monitors and controls each individual generator set
Performs basic protection functions for reliable generator operation
Master Control Panel (MCP) – Centralized Automation Hub The MCP houses DEIF controllers and serves as the operator interface (HMI) for efficient system management.
Key Features & Functions of MCP:
Remote Start/Stop Control – Issues generator start/stop commands and manages circuit breaker (CB) operations
Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Function – Detects mains failure and executes the required breaker operations
Integrated Electrical Protection – Ensures safe and stable generator operation
